As a trauma-informed therapist, my goal is to help you rediscover the most human parts of yourself that we often lose touch with in our fast-paced society. I am passionate about the mind and body connection, and I enjoy working with clients who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, complex trauma, addiction, and interpersonal issues. I have experience working with people of all ages, particularly children and adolescents. Additionally, I work with those who need spiritual guidance and help with existential questions or crises.

Who Am I?

As we work together, I will help you make sense of how your past experiences continue to affect your present. We'll focus on connecting your mind and body, which I believe to be your greatest resource. Together, we will regulate your nervous system and normalize survival mechanisms and strategies that you have used up until this point. This will assist you in completing trauma responses and regulating your emotions effectively and holistically. Our goal is to build upon the unique self that deserves nothing but peace, love, health, and happiness.

I find that exploring the mind-body connection is particularly compelling, as our body is our greatest resource and keeps the score of our life experience and trauma. Working collaboratively, we will "un-program" your mind and body and learn how they affect one another. We will navigate through survival emotions and build self-awareness and self-regulation, which will enable us to move towards a deeper sense of self-expression, authenticity, and more meaningful relationships.

Coming to therapy is a significant step in your mental health journey. Therefore, you need a nonjudgmental and empathetic guide to assist you on the way. If you're interested in exploring your authentic self, I am confident that we can work together to establish trust and safety in your therapeutic journey. As your therapist, my job is to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique life experiences, helping you rediscover aspects of yourself and step into your power and authenticity.

My legal name is Olivia A. Moses. I am a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker #104786 working at Reconnect Marriage and Family Counseling and under the supervision of Cymone Damon Sams, LMFT#127094.
