As a therapist, I lead with empathy and grace, to empower others to embrace challenges and thrive beyond their comfort zone.

How I Practice

I believe that meaningful progress begins with radical acceptance, meaning acknowledging where you are without judgment while remaining open to growth and healing. I recognize that none of us are perfect, including therapists, but we all have the capacity to strive for better. My work is deeply informed by this belief, as well as by understanding that accountability, grace, and vulnerability are all powerful agents of change.

In my practice, I take a holistic and compassionate approach to therapy, integrating techniques such as changing one's thought patterns and reframing how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. I also utilize mindfulness skills, such as deep breathing and other somatic techniques to help clients put themselves first and cultivate emotional balance. My goal is to create a supportive space where individuals can explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing practical tools for change and self-growth. When you work with me, you can expect a collaborative, nonjudgmental, and goal-oriented environment. Together, we’ll focus on identifying thoughts that may have caused pain, building more ease, and better coping skills to handle distressful events, and creating practical strategies for personal and emotional growth. I’m passionate about helping clients embrace discomfort as part of the growth process, fostering resilience, and empowering them to lead more intentional, fulfilling lives.

My approach to healing is guided by values of community, grace, authenticity, and resilience. I deeply believe in the power of community, which is the idea that healing does not happen in isolation. None of us can do it alone. The presence of a supportive “village” has profoundly shaped my own journey, and it is my mission to extend that same sense of safety, compassion, and belonging to those I work with. I believe in extending grace both to oneself and to others, recognizing that every individual’s path is uniquely their own. Healing is not a linear process, and each person’s journey toward self-discovery deserves understanding, patience, and acceptance.

Within the therapeutic relationship, I hold space for uncomfortable emotions and experiences, creating an environment where clients can explore vulnerability with safety with intention. I view discomfort not as something to be avoided, but as an opportunity for growth and transformation. My work remains solution-focused, helping clients navigate life’s challenges while cultivating self-awareness and empowerment. These values are deeply personal to me. My own community has selflessly provided space for me to grow and heal, and I hold that legacy close to my heart. In turn, it is both my privilege and purpose to be of service to others by helping them find strength, healing, and connection within themselves and their communities.
